Dumbarton Golf Club, founded in 1888, is a formidable golf course, designed to test the straightest of drivers. With the newly designed 11th (par 3) and 12th (par 4) holes, making this par 70 course a rare challenge, but hopefully a pleasant one!

Balfron Golf Society runs an 18 hole course situated 6 miles from Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, in an area of West Stirlingshire in Scotland, 20 miles to the north of Glasgow and to the west of Stirling

Founded in 1895, The Milngavie Golf Club was originally designed by Willie and Laurie Auchterlonie, with later features added by James Braid, and is now a priceless gem.

Sitting at the foot of the Menteith Hills, on the southern border of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Aberfoyle is one of Scotland’s most scenic and interesting golf courses. The views from the course are breathtaking. From Ben Lomond in the west, down the upper valley of the River Forth to the bulwark of Stirling Castle, the scenery is magnificent. The course itself is quite short, but requires a wide variety of imagination and shotmaking. It is ideal for both high and low handicap players and is an ideal country location for group outings. The recently refurbished clubhouse offers a friendly and informal welcome to all. Only 25 miles from Glasgow, and 15 from Stirling, Aberfoyle is a great place to enjoy golf.

Vale of Leven Golf Club was founded in 1907. Situated in Alexandria, close to Loch Lomond, it boasts a beautiful 18-hole course with stunning views over the loch and surrounding mountains, including Ben Lomond itself.

Buchanan Castle Golf Club is a special tranquil place providing an almost tangible tonic to the system. It is one of Scotland’s hidden golfing splendours nestling in the foothills of the Scottish Highlands, close to Loch Lomond and the picturesque village of Drymen - only half an hour from Glasgow city centre. It is a truly top class Scottish golf course designed by James Braid in 1936 offering players of all levels an intriguing but fair golfing challenge. The course lies on the plain of the River Endrick with magnificent scenic backdrops which include Ben Lomond, the Highlands and Luss Hills.

Located within Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, Strathendrick Golf Club is easily accessible from Glasgow or Stirling. The Course, designed by Willie Fernie of Troon in 1901 , is situated on the undulating banks of the River Endrick and offers breathtaking views of Ben Lomond and the picturesque Campsie Hills.
